Managing emotions

‭‭James‬ ‭1:19‭-‬20‬ ‭NIV‬‬  My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.    Emotions are a part of every human being, it is an undeniable part of our anatomy. They sometimes play a major role in the decisions we make from time to time and if not managed properly, we can tend to make mistakes in the spur of these moments. As Christians, living with emotions that runs wild and uncontrolled is very dangerous for us because, decisions taken with an uncontrolled emotion is usually a terrible one that hunts us later in life. BEYOND GUILT

 " FORGET THE FORMER THINGS, DO NOT DWELL ON THE PAST, FOR I AM DOING A NEW THING" ISAIAH 43 VS 18 - 19 Guilt according to the oxford dictionary, is feeling responsible or regretful for a perceived offence, real or imaginary, it can be said to be part of the grief reaction to an event that occurred in the past. Personally, I believe that guilt is a weight that holds us down to the past and limits our ability to move forward in life.
